DIY Number Puzzles

Hey everyone! I have a super fun project that is perfect for either your math or literacy centers. I made these animal themed number puzzles for practicing number order, but you can easily replace the numbers with letters. They take a little bit of time to make, but you'll be able to use them for years and years.

To make the puzzles you will need large craft sticks, printed pictures (you can use these pictures or pictures from magazines), Mod Podge, paint brush, a Sharpie marker and an X Acto knife.

Just gather your pictures and size them to the craft sticks if using pictures other than the ones in this file.

Line up the craft sticks and tape them together.

Flip the craft sticks over and brush a layer of Mod Podge over the sticks.

Now simply place the picture over the craft sticks and brush a layer of Mod Podge over the picture. Let dry.

Using a permanent Sharpie marker, write the number on the base of sticks.

Cut the picture along the side of each craft stick.

There you have it. Super easy. Enjoy!
